My Journey
Welcome to Susan Steel Nails, where passion meets precision. With over a decade of experience in the nail industry, I am dedicated to bringing exceptional nail care and education to my clients and students.
My journey began back in 2015 with formal training in college, mastering the essentials of manicure and pedicure, gel polish, acrylic nails and hard gel. Eager to expand my skills, I trained with Hand and Nail Harmony, completing several advanced courses with Gelish to refine my technique and stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of nails. Since then I have attended many master classes to further my skills.
In 2014, I proudly earned my Educator Diploma through the Nail Tech Org, marking a major milestone in my career and something I had inspired to do for many years as I love helping others and sharing my skills and knowledge. More recently, I joined the amazing brand Nail Order as an educator in 2024, an achievement that is the biggest in my Career.
2025 has been a particularly exciting year as I was honoured to receive the National Manicurist of the Year award at the SMHB Awards — a recognition that fuels my passion even more.
All of my courses are offered in my specially designed, home-built salon located in my garden—providing a comfortable, serene, and professional environment for learning and creativity.
At Susan Steel Nails Education, I offer a range of accredited nail courses, including gel polish for beginners, builder gel, hard gel and full cover extensions. I also provide specialised masterclasses and mentoring sessions designed to help both new and experienced nail technicians elevate their craft.
